Xiaomi Mi Note 2 with 5.7-inch dual-edge curved display and Snapdragon 821 processor launched. Xiaomi has today launched the Mi Note 2 at its 'Curved to impress' event in Beijing, China. The Mi Note 2 is successor to the Mi Note that was launched back in January 2015. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is priced at $413 (RMB 2,799) for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at $487 (RMB 3,299). There is also a global variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB priced at $516 (RMB 3,499 with support for 600 mbps 4G+ and 37 different bands.

The Mi Note 2 comes with a 5.7-inch dual-edge flexible display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and sunlight display pro mode. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked at 2.35GHz, coupled with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with custom MIUI 8 UI on top.

Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 features ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on the front, which uses Qualcomm's Sense ID feature to precisely read your fingerprints. It also includes support for 24-bit Hi-Fi sound (192kHz) with HD lossless audio, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, USB Type-C port and Wi-Fi. It is backed by a 4,070mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The smartphone equipped with a 22.56 MP rear camera (Sony IMX 318 Exmor R sensor) with electronic image stabilization (EIS), phase detection auto-focus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture, 4K video recording and dual-LED flash. There is also a front-facing 8 MP camera (IMX268 Exmor RS Sensor) with f/2.0 aperture and auto-focus functionality.
